In 2002 Lane was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Actress for her performance in Unfaithful, and was honoured for her work in that film by The New York Film Critics and The National Society of Film Critics. She followed that up with Under the Tuscan Sun (2003), based on the best-selling book by Frances Mayes.Daughter of acting coach Burt Lane and Playboy centerfold Colleen Farrington (Miss October 1957). Dated rocker/actor Jon Bon Jovi in the mid-80s. Admitted in Esquire Magazine in February 2000 that she had an affair with both Timothy Hutton and Christopher Atkins. 


The Big Town: A country boy with a knack for throwing dice goes to big city Chicago to try his luck. He's on a winning streak until he falls in love with a married fan-dancer whose husband is a high roller and a killer. The boy soon finds himself rolling for his lady and his life.
